2003 Harley Davidson XLH 883 Hugger100th Anniversary Edition
In 2003, arley-Davidson marked its 100th anniversary. As a part of this celebration, arley issued several special anniversary edition motorcycles, ith the Sportster being one of them. This is a great middleweight cruiser that has a great torque range, pirited personality, lower seat height and that true Harley sound.The XLH 883 Hugger has distinctive styling from the Sportster, owered with the 883cc Evolution V-Twin engine. By lowering the seat closer to the ground (more than other Sportster models) and providing easily reachable handlebars and pegs it makes it an comfortable and tamable motorcycle.
The XLH 883 Hugger features the OHV Evolution V-Twin 883cc engine, elf-adjusting lifters, wo valves per cylinder, arbureted fuel system, ushrod-operated overhead valves and a compression ratio of 9.0:1. Pushing out 49ft-lbs of torque @ 4500 rpm
The drive-train consists of a primary drive double row chain, il bath mechanical tensioner, 6/35 ratio, 1/27 ratio Clutch Multi-plate, nd 5 speed wet transmission.
The chassis on this motorcycle features a twin cradle mild steel frame, 9mm telescopic front fork, ear coil over shocks, 9 front wheel, 6 rear wheel coupled with dual piston front and rear calipers, niform expansion rotors (front 11.5x.20 / rear 11.5x.23). The front swing arm rectangular section is mild steel. Wheel base of 59.3, ry weight of 518 lbs, verall length 87.8 and a fuel capacity of 12.5 lt.
This XLH 883 Hugger has original 2,513 mile on the odometer. It has been kept in fantastic condition and appears to have never been dropped and always taken care of.The left side of the gas tank does have a small dent (can be seen in photos). This bike does come with (but not shown on photos) the quick-attach windshield, riginal seat and highway bar. These will be provided to the purchaser of the motorcycle.
