Harley Davidson FLH 1200 CC Electra Glide Shovelhead 1971

1971 Harley Davidson FLH, 200cc, 4 cubic inch. Frame off restored motor in 2009. The second owner purchased this motorcycle in1995 in an exclusive auction. He rode the motorcycle, tripped it, ainted it, dded chrome parts, nd stored the motorcycle in his family room for over15 years. He commented that he purchased the bike from the original owner. Apparently, he original owner fell off of the bike within the first few hundred miles and then storedthe bikeuntil 1995. I purchased the bike in August of 2010 from the second owner.The second owner believes the mileage to be original.

I rode the bike about 1 year. The engine has good torque, ounds great, nd runs smooth. As seen in the pictures, ost of the parts are original. In the case that this is a true low mile bike, do not want to tick the odometer past the 33.611 mile mark, nd I do not have proper storage for such a nice motorcycle. As seen in the pictures, his is a super clean andextremely detailed motorcycle. This motorcycleis a perfect candidate to return to factory FLH form and specifications. Some of the original parts have been exchanged with chrome parts.

Parts like the brake calipers and hoses, rame, endix carburetor, ir filter housing, ose cone, as tanks, andle bars, enders, nner and outer primary, ights, acelle, heels, ashboard, iring, ectifier, tc. are original. There aren't many Shovelheads on the road still being charged by the original rectifier. Although the solo seat is not original, he condition of it is excellent.

Please use the zoom-in functionon the engine pictures. In my experience, t looks like the engine and transmissionhave never been apart. Cases, ylinders, ylinder heads, ocker boxes, tc. look untouched.

This motorcycle comes with a clear title. It is a used motorcycle. No test drives.
