1947 Indian Chief

The Chief is a "matching numbers" bike.

Motor VIN #CDGXXXBM makes this a Bonneville with 1300cc vs 1200

"BUT" I have NOT pulled the heads. No plans to do at this time to verify!

Carb is correct for the year as a M344 Linkert.

A partial restore is started so there is some incorrect hardware, tc.

The magneto was replaced in January, 016 by "Mainely Magneto's"

The bike was in running condition but not started when I bought it.

I have done nothing to the bike and being sold AS IS!

Am adding an aftermarket windshield "and" what appears to be a NOS front fender lamp!

Frame shows a matching sequence number - barely visible but is there to verify!
