For sale is a Custom Built Harley Davidson like no other. It started life as a stock 2001 Dyna Super Glide Sport (FXDX). It resembles the original only in style and somewhat in looks retaining the original sheet metal, aint job, poke rims, nd frame. Everything else on the bike has been replaced with custom parts, ith most being Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle High Performance parts. Please see specifications picture attached listing everything that was put into this bike.
First picture is a stock photo of what the bike looked like BEFORE any mods. Second picture is bike specifications listing EVERY modification and parts list that has been made to this motorcycle. Third is a picture of the bike at the 1st bike show I won within a week after the bike was completed at the Grand Opening of Colonial Heights Harley Davidson (I will send more pictures to truly interested parties)
The original twin cam "Type A" motor consisted of 88 cubic inches with 62 stock horsepower and 77 ft/lbs. torque. The motor was professionally built by a Certified Teacher at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, ho taught the Harley Screaming Eagle class. He is well known as one of the best wrenches around.
Motor has been stroked out to 103 cubic inches and has been dyno-tuned @ 114 horsepower and 110 ft/lbs. of torque. That is a 19 % increase in cubic inches, 3% increase in horse power and 54% torque increase over stock. To put that in perspective, ompare the numbers listed below for Harley's stock, 8, 03 and 110 cubic inch motors.
* Harley-Davidson Twin Cam (1450cc / 88" 45 degree single plug v-twin with F.I.) -- 62hp & 77 ft lbs of torque
* Harley-Davidson Twin Cam (1688cc / 103" 45 degree single plug v-twin with F.I.) -- 83hp & 95 ft lbs of torque
* Harley-Davidson Twin Cam (1800cc / 110" 45 degree single plug v-twin with F.I.) -- 95hp & 10 ft/lbs of torque
This baby was built for smooth, eliable, ick-in-the-pants, P and torque, nd will "Spank the Llama's ass" of practically anything else. All internals and externals are Harley or Harley Screaming Eagle parts. The only the exception of the Bassani true equal length dual headers. I have a LePera solo seat for solo riding which sets you IN the bike, nd accentuates the muscular attitude.
Bike was built for comfort, eliability, nd speed...and most importantly..to RIDE! I have placed it in many bike show's at others request, nd it has won "1st in it's class" in all but 1 show. It has also won "Best use of Harley". They say chrome won't get you home, ut this machine has what it takes to get you there....easily, eliably,....or very, ery fast.
But significant can no longer ride with me on this bike due to neck fusions and I must sell her (had to flip a coin between wife and bike) and replace with a dresser, hich of course will also not be stock ;-)
I hate to sell my baby; we have had many good rides together. Everyone who sees the bike and looks closely says it is one of the cleanest customs around, nd what a true "Harley Custom" should be like, ot just a bunch of aftermarket parts stuck here and there or the motor replaced rather than being custom built.
The top-end (cams, earings, ush-rods, tc.) were replaced 300 miles ago as routine maintenance. The bottom and top ends are rock solid for many more worry free miles. There are currently 23,607 miles on the bike of which 4,200 were put on it prior to being modified. You do not sit ON this bike...you sit IN this bike. With the forward controls, ow solo seat, ow Rider handlebar, tretched triple tree, tc. the bike just "fits".
This is a must see, ust have bike. Not many stops without someone giving a thumbs up or "Nice Ride" comment. Real head turner. . ..then the light turns green and everyone states "WTF"! (you can see it in their expressions)
Cost to purchase and build this bike now not including labor exceeds $30,000.00. I have over $12,000.00 in the motor alone. If you have the cash and are truly interested in purchasing the bike please contact me. Others...no offense intended, ut I have better things to do. Not interested in any trades, arters, ire kickers, tc. Price is somewhat negotiable but please don't insult me. (Motorcycle is listed locally and seller has the right to remove from Ebay if sold locally 1st.) Buyerresponsiblefor all packing andshipping costs, f applicable.Thanks for looking!
