1986 Harley-Davidson FLTHC Custom. Number 88/650
I am the second owner of this motorcycle that was purchased new in 1986 by Forbes Inc and ridden by Malcolm Forbes. All original purchase paperwork is available and will be included in the final sale.
Rebuilt in March 2009 at 51070 miles, his motorcycle has full service records from new. The rebuild included a fully rebuilt engine from the crank up, ncludingAndrews EV27 Cam and Screaming Eagle Heads, nd adjustable lifters by a local HD Dealer (this was not a factory rebuild) Other upgrades include a RevTech 6 speed conversion. The bike is currently running the stock carb and air cleaner assembly as it was recently displayed at the Vintage Motorcycle Rally in Anamosa, A, here it took second place for it's division. The S&S Shorty E carb will be included in the final sale.
Current condition would be good to very good. Need to be seen to appreciate the condition.
The bike was repainted at the rebuild in the original color scheme, ith the swingarm bushings being replaced with synthetic Sta-Bo bushing (this was a frame up restoration). There are many other extras that have been added and it is a strong reliable bike.
