1983 Harley Davidson FLHTP Shovelhead Police Bike with 4,739 Original miles. 80 Cubic Inch Engine, Speed Transmission with Enclosed rear chain.

Bike is in unbelievable condition for it's age. Please view pictures closely and be prepared to be stunned. I have just been informed from a knowledgeablesource that only 341 FLHTP Police Bikes were produced in 1983. More pictures available for serious inquiries. (Please no picture collectors)

I am the second owner and have owned it for many years. I am not just some bike flipper (hustling bikes for a buck withno knowledge about the bike or it's true history) or a bike butcher (Tearing downcomplete and running bikes sellingoff each piece trying to make two more dollars)

Bike has been kept in a climate controlled environment since new and has only been washed a few times. It is in that good of condition. Itwas not just cleaned and detailed for the pictures. I have spent more money on electric running a dehumidifier in the room it has been stored in than what I am asking for it.

The only parts that I have changed are the battery, ires, etcock, ir cleaner, ear shocks and clutch assembly. The original battery was changed due to age and now has a new sealed Battery. The original tires were changed due to age and now has new Dunlop Tires.The petcock was changed due to old gas and now has a new Pingel Petcock and Fuel Filter. The air cleaner was upgraded to a better flowing unit with a K&N Air Filter.The rear shocks wereupgraded to new Air Shocks. The clutch was upgraded to a Rivera style Pro Clutch.

I still have all the original parts thatI removed other than the battery and tires. I also have the original matching Tour Pack available if interested.

This bike is in excellent running condition and is ready to ride. I had it out the other day and it runs flawlessly. It rides like a dream. It looks, ides and even still smells new. Clean and Clear title and keysin hand.

This bike is worth every penny I am asking for it and this is no estate or shop closing sale. Please do not contact me with lowball offers. If you find a bike of this caliber in as good or better condition than this onefor less money and don't buy it please let me know so I can.
