We are selling our 1972 Harley-Davidson FLH Touring Electra Glide. Its a true classic done in a style right out of the 1970's. Its from the second year that AMF owned Harley-Davidson. This is a real piece of history just the way its presented. We bought this a couple of years ago, he previous owner had a lot of work done to it at that time. New Tires, ew Battery, ew master cylinder on front and wheel cylinder on the back. New Cable and clutch. The transmission was completely rebuilt and the engine had a fresh repair and new parts as needed to get in good shape. The bike runs and rides excellent. Has lots of little add on's [lights and chrome] most are Harley-Davidson manufactured and make the bike look unique. The bike shows a little over 42,000 miles on the odometer that appears to be accurate. Most everything works on the bike including the radio.
This has a custom paint job from the 1970's. The bike is a real piece of history. You could leave as is or take it down and repaint. Couple of items, here is a hole in the front fender where the light should go. The saddle bags need gaskets. The chrome is pretty decent for its age. The paint does have some chips/cracks. Cosmetically in original condition. We have had several offers to buy this bike and put it in a museum just because of the ways its decked out. The Money wasn't right they offered $5000 that was a little short. Please email questions.
