Description

Before leaving the dealership in 2008, his motorcycle was set up for both style and comfort to my specs. Lots of bling and also great for touring. I invested thousands of dollars on Day One, nd then thousands more in the couple of years that followed. Look closely look at the enlarged photos and you'll see I mean it when I say "too many extras to list." Some notables include chrome auxiliary light set up, hrome switch housings and levers, hrome teardrop side mirrors, hrome locking gas cap, ouring seat, onvertible windshield, ard leather saddle bags, hrome derby cover, arious other chrome covers on engine parts, hrome bolt covers, raided steel cables, ustom grips and pegs, issy bar with wide passenger back pad and luggage rack, hrome front fender tips, nalog clock, rogressive rear shocks and front fork springs (installed last year). The only change to stock that you can't see is that I dialed up to 103 cubic inches about a year after buying the bike. The engine upgrade, hich also included the addition of a heavy duty clutch and low restriction pipes (slightly louder than stock), ade for a real performance improvement. It was done by an H-D certified mechanic/technician at my local authorized H-D dealership. Once you get a jolt of this motor, here's no riding the 2008 stock, o way. Don't compare this bike to a stock 2008: apples and oranges! In short, his bike has awesome get up and go. It's basically a lighter bike than the big, eavy Harley touring machines, ut with the same engine and 6-speed tranny. Handles like a Sportster on steroids but with the more muscular frame than the Sporty and the added accessories, reater stability and a lot more comfort for the long days on the road. H-D went with beefier front forks on the Low Rider in 2008, nd this greatly improved handling vs. earlier Dynas. The windshield is "convertible," which means you can remove it or remount it in five seconds, o tools. The seat is H-D touring, eally comfortable for both rider and passenger. The original seat looked great and had an "authentic" 1970s vibe, ut it was torture on longer rides, t least to me, nd my wife hated it, or good reason. Hard leather H-D Dyna saddle bags included and pictured! They are the easy-off, asy-on type, o you can leave them off day-to-day and, hen, ust snap them on before touring. The bike is in excellent condition, ust passed MA state inspection in May, o issues. Close scrutiny in sunlight reveals hints of the bike's age, nd there are two small rust spots on the back fender near the taillight housing, ut the paint overall is definitely excellent plus. The bike doesn't look 8 years old, specially not at 75 m.p.h.--ha! On the other hand, t looks decades old!--as this model was meant to ooze nostalgia, eeing as the Low Rider look is a style nod to the Super Glides of the past. Many comments come from folks who assume this is a vintage bike lovingly restored--though to those of us who really know what we're looking at, t's obviously a recent manufacture--twin-cam, ix-speed, tc. It has been covered and garaged every winter, aintained entirely on schedule by the technicians at my H-D dealership, nd pampered by yours truly all its life. I can provide all maintenance documentation to the buyer, s it was always serviced at the same dealership. Ready to ride. Never dropped. Not even on the grass! Has a bit over 22K right now on the odometer, ut the 103 rebuild was done at about 5K. At least 95% of the miles have been logged on the open road, ust purring along, ecause I live in rural western MA, hich is rolling farmland and hills, nd Vermont is my playground. Delivery arrangements are the buyer's responsibility, ut I'll help if I can. Local pick-up is best, bviously, ut I'll ride it to a destination to meet you, aybe. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. The bike is awesome. This is not the first ebay listing of this bike, ut it will be the last ebay offering this summer. Bike is also offered locally. My feedback is exceptional, roof that I aim to please in all my ebay transactions, o work with me. Make an offer--you never know!
