I am offering up forauction /salea really awesome & fun to ride Harley Davidson Sportster -"Street Tracker" motorcycle. I hate to having to put it up for sale, ut Ilost myhealth insurancethe end of Novemberand as life always seems to go, nowneed to have a couple oftests done before the year end.And sincemy new insurance doesn't take effect until the first of next year, need to raise some cash in order to get this done.I'm not looking for any sympathy here, just want to let prospective buyers know the reason it's up for sale, nd that there is nothing wrong with the bike.

HISTORY OF THIS MOTORCYCLE: I am thethird owner of this motorcycle and as the story was relayed to me it was purchased new in 2004 by the original owner, nd at that time he had the dealership install the Harley Davidson "Screamin Eagle" 1200cc kit and performance exhaust system. The original owner sold this motorcycle to the person I bought it from in 2013 with 4000 original miles on it. The second owner is the one that did the "Street Tracker" conversion on the bike which he started in 2014. This person took the bike pretty much to the level it's at now, nd put slightly over 1000 miles on it before selling it to me this past September with just over 5000 original miles on it.

CONDITION OF THE MOTORCYCLE:

Everything on this bike works just as it should and it's an awesome experience to ride. It's approximately 60 pounds (+/-) lighter than a stock Sportster and with the 1200cc kit on it there's no lack of power by any means. It pretty much feels like riding abig boredirt bike with endless power that has no problem hitting well in excess of 100 mph.

I discovered two issues with the bike after I bought it, he first being a slight oil leak on the clutch side of the bike, hich turned out to be a worn through clutch cable housing allowing transmission oil to leak through the cable housing. I just replaced the clutch cable with a brand new one, nd all the O-rings and seals on the cable and Derbi (clutch) cover. This has cured the oil leak as expected so that is no longer an issue. The only remaining item that I feel needs some attention is that the rear brake is a little "soft" feeling and does not stop quite as well as I would expect it to. I believe this can be corrected by bleeding the rear brake system and possibly adding a bit more brake fluid if necessary. I can not make this repair myself as I don't have the correct tool, nd do not have anyone that can help me which is a necessary thing being that you need to be on both sides of the bike at the same time.I just wanted to make any potential buyers aware of this situation so they can expect to deal with this issue. I was not made aware of either of these problems before buying the bike and did not appreciate the deception, nd I don't want to do that to anyone else.

NOTE: Ifthe buyer takes the bike for the "Buy it Now" price I will throw in a basically brand new Shoei TZ-R full face helmet (size large) with two extra new "smoke" face shields andan optional "breath guard" that aids in not fogging up the shield.The helmet is Shoei's "pure orange" color and is a $ 400.00 value.

I am offering this motorcycle for pick up at my location only, nd will not make any shipping arrangements or get quotes for any shipping. This would be the responsibility of the buyer to handle any shipping arrangements and expense. I will however assist as much as possible with your shipping companiesdriver in order to get it loaded safely and get the bike on it's way to you. I'm located in northern Michigan near the town of Indian River, ip code 49749.

PAYMENT:

While I would prefer CASH at the time of pick up I will also accept other forms of payment in order to make payment easier for out of the area, r out of country buyer. These payment methods would include a Bank Cashiers check or Money Order from a verified U.S. or Canadian bankand the funds must clear before the bike leaves my location. A wire transfer would also be acceptable but again the funds must clear prior to the bike leaving my location. This will typically take a minimum of 10 or more business days so be prepared for this delay if you chose this payment method. I'm located in a rural area and bank with a small credit unionwhich meanswire transfers may have to go through a larger institution in order to be completed and this takes more time.
