CUSTOM ENGINE WORK:

We removed and completely disassembled the engine. All parts were cleaned and inspected. The cases were bored to accept the new larger cylinders and then cleaned and prepped for assembly.

Check run-out of the Crank and the new cylinders and pistons were checked for proper dimensions and clearances. A dry assembly of the pistons and cylinders was performed to check the deck height and fit of the components. With the proper deck height set, he cylinders and pistons were assembled to the lower engine cases.

Installed custom heads with 2.120" intake and 1.630" custom exhaust valves and 3 angle valve job. The combustion chambers were reshaped to maximize the new bore diameter and piston shape. New cam bearings werefitted and the heads wereinstalled using new 0.045" thick MLS gaskets.

The engine was re-installed in the chassis, s werethe remaining components. New SE Pro high flow injectors were installed and all fluids were replaced with Schaeffer's component specific oils. The engine was heat cycled several times to allow the new components to break-in and to check for any potential issues. Once satisfied with the break-in, hebike was re-tuned on the chassis dyno to achieve optimum drivability and performance.
