This a carefully preserved 2004 V-Rod. VRSCB Model. It is not the same thing as the Screamin' Eagle that came out in 2005, ut has Screamin' Eagle exhaust (stock). The only aftermarket modifications are the alligator seat and shaved rear signals, which are present in the led taillight, here they appear as yellow arrows. The Odometer reads 18,395. There was at some point a disparity concerning this reading, esulting in a notation on the title "odom dicrep" The title is clear in all other ways.
The Harley-Davidson VRSC (V-Twin Racing Street Custom) is a model of muscle bike, roduced by Harley-Davidson. The engine, alled the Revolution engine is based on the VR-1000 Superbike engine and jointly developed and engineered with the German sports car manufacturer Porsche. The original V-Rod has a 1,131 cubic centimetres (69.0 cu in) Revolution Engine, roducing a 115 horsepower (86 kW) at the crank. The V-Rod had 49 mm forks and a 180 mm rear tire, ith solid disc wheels. The VRSCAs were all factory equipped with 3.7 US gallons (14 l; 3.1 imp gal) fuel tanks. In 2006 the VRSCA was equipped with Brembo Brakes. The VRSCB was only offered with forward controls.
The VRSCB V-Rod had a two-year run. It was mechanically identical to the VRSCA, ith cosmetic differences included a black frame, olished aluminum and black powder-coated engine, nd a slightly different clamshell, nstrument housing and handlebars.
The "V-Rod" made use of the Revolution engine, eveloped jointly with Porsche that, or the first time used overhead cams and liquid cooling. Unlike other Harley production motorcycles, 60-degree V-twin engine, he radiator and the hydroformed frame members support the round-topped air cleaner cover. The fuel tank on the V-Rod is located underneath the seat, lacing the rider on top of it, ather than the usual frontal placement. The "tank" in this case is dressing, iding the frame. Loosely based on the VR-1000 Superbike, arley-Davidson builds it as a platform for drag-racing competition machines. All VRSC models are produced at Harley-Davidson's Vehicle and Powertrain Operations facility in Kansas City, issouri.
