1968 Harley Electra Glide. 90% original. Original motor that has never been opened up. Original trans and drum brakes. This bike is a rider but also a ideal candidate for restoration. I have the original tour pack that still has the wiring diagram glued to the lid, lso have theoriginal windshield but its kinda scratched up. Maybe they can be buffed out? I have the original pipes. The bike does have some period aftermarketchrome that came with it when I bought it 7 years ago some of which is not on the bike in the pictures here. She starts on the first kick and the electric start works perfectly. Compression is good. I bought this bike 7 years ago from a buddy of mine, e owned the bike for 25 years prior to that. He sold it to me to cover costs of a tragic incident in his life. The deal was he would buy it back when he got his head together. I've never ridden the bike.Unfortunately, e passed away late last year and I need the garage space. I would let him use the bike occasionally for old times sake, ndanother friend of his rode it for his funeral services. Probably too much info but the bike runs great and could be taken cross country as it is. I did have the brakes redone after buying it and the originalbuddy seat put back on. The previous owner had a two up seat on it when I bought it. He told me he bought it from the original owner at a bike rally in Daytona. And that it has around 24K miles on it. I have no way of confirming that. The bike was purchased newsomewhere in Georgia. Im pretty sure it was originally allblack but that can be looked into through the Harley plant in Milwaukeethey have great records on the vintage bikes, ust give them the vin.
