1969 Harley Davidson FLH Electra Gliude, Last year of the generator model

Up for sale we have a 1969 Harley Davidson Electra Glide FLH. Last year of the generator model. This is a second owner motorcycle. The present owner is the son of the original purchaser of the motorcycle which was bought new in 1969 from Jim Ott Harley Davidson in Baton Rouge Louisiana. This motorcycle is all original but for the period updates. For example: The carburetor was changed in about 1977 from a tillotson which came on the bike to a kiehin carburetor that came out on the new model FLH in 1976 and so sports an external throttle cable rather than the hard wire cable that ran inside of the handlebar. The red reflectors that are on the saddle bags did not come on 1969 Electra Glides but were added later by the owner. The mufflers were changed and the exhaust was modified to true duels and fabricated by the owner himself. The original mufflers are available as is the carburetor. As noted. period updates here and there. The blue paint is original. All instrument panel lights work  (oil. neutral. high beam. turn signal indicators) as do the speedo. turn signals. running/spot lights and high/low headlight. Trip meter knob is broken. Does not smoke. Runs excellent. The keys to the saddle bags have been lost. The tires are Good Year which haven't been made for years and very well may be the originals and should be changed. It has less than 20. 00 miles on it. It has been sitting up for a good few years and was brought to " Road Runner Machine Works" to be serviced an gone over as the present owner thought he might ride it again. As he is long in years his riding adventures ended shortly and so sadly has decided to sell it. So I am listing it for him. After servicing and general check out I see no issues with the motorcycle. as I said I only serviced and check out its road worthiness. I did no shoe shinning so it is as it was. The pictures of the bike in the description are of the bike when in my possession and weren't  intended to be put on eBay and as he decided later to sell and the pictures are what I had for myself. there are no detailed shots. The motorcycle is not in my possession and is located in Greensburg La. so if there is something you would like a better picture of ask and I will see about getting that done. also glad to answer any questions.
