1967 HARLEY DAVIDSON XLH SURVIVOR

I am selling my Original Paint. Unrestored 1967 Harley Davidson XLH. I am the third owner of this motorcycle since new. It is currently running with all lights. gauges and electric starter working. New battery and fresh oil change. Mechanically this bike runs as well as any Sportster I have owned and I have owned many since purchasing my first one in 1964.

1967 was the first and only year XLH with both electric and kick starters. both in proper working condition. You might note the one year only rear exhaust header pipe with indent relief for kicker clearance. try to find one of these. The ignition switch has been replaced as the original key was apparently lost. I can see no signs that this engine has ever been apart and both ?ˆ?Belly Numbers?ˆ? match.

As you can see. this bike is well equipped with turn signals. front and rear crash bars. saddle bags with delux side guards. alloy rims and original Hi-Fi Blue paint. The paint shows typical fading. nicks and scratches etc. however it is original and in my opinion too nice to repaint. You know the old saying. ?ˆ?it?ˆ™s only original once?ˆ?. The gas tank has never been cleaned or coated and is nice and clean inside. I believe the mileage to be correct as this bike was stored for many years according to the previous owner and backed up by what appears to be an original Goodyear front tire. The rear tire has likely been replaced somewhere along the line with the correct Goodyear All Traction tire which is in excellent condition.

There is a clear Pennsylvania title in my name waiting for a new owner.
