2006 Harley Davidson Sportster 883R Cafe Racer

 For sale is a 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883R cafe racer. Bike has just at 1200 miles on it and may change a bit if I ride it. I purchased the bike from its first owner about six months ago and spent that time carefully customizing it in the Cafe Racer style. In keeping with that less is more spirit. I removed all but the essential parts necessary to make it safe and street legal. The stock handlebars were replaced with Joker Machine clip-ons which have been internally wired. The brake and clutch levers were modified to operate with two fingers. leaving the rest free to hold on. I also replaced the stock mirrors with a small 2-inch bar end to remain legal. A custom seat from Tuffside was chosen for comfort and looks with its matching orange diamond stitch and matte black leather. The rear fender was removed for stance and weight saving. Select parts were removed and powder coated Harley orange to match the paint. including the kickstand and footpeg mounts. New Roland Sands Design footpegs and a matching shift peg replace the stock ones. A Danmoto Highwayman 2-1 pipe was chosen for its light weight and great performance as well as its stainless finish which has turned that beautiful gold up by the heads. The carburetor was completely cleaned and re-jetted and all seals were replaced. A custom license plate/taillight bracket was fabricated and powder coated orange by SpookyFast Customs in Scottsdale. There is a Harley-Davidson Daymaker LED headlight installed for late night ton up runs. The bike has been completely gone over. the 1K service performed with fresh fluids including a brake flush and all necessary adjustments. I have personally ridden it extensively to ensure everything works as it should. As with all my bikes. careful thought and consideration went into this build to ensure maximum function as well as clean looks. right down to little details like the handlebar wiring running through the open frame gussets.
