Historic Wisconsin title at hand The XR1000 model. and this actual machine in particular. is known to provide instrumental inspiration to Erik Buell at the time he created the Buell Motorcycle Company in the same year. 1983 The XR1000 is a special edition street variation of one of the most legendary motorcycles of all time - the flat track XR750 racer. They were made in small batches and are now highly collectible. Note the 2 carburetors on the right and exhaust system on the left - it has a strong charisma from every angle. it's 100% muscle. it is fast. and it is loud. Clean and nice for its age. it has the perfect amount of patina. The bike has been sitting but started right up. It could use some love - fresh oil. throttle adjustment. carb synch. etc. Missing side/center stand.
