1943 Harley-Davidson WLA Liberator 43 WLC WWII Military Motorcycle

Up for your consideration is a very rare 1943 Harley-Davidson WLC motorcycle.  The WLC is equipped with the same engine as the 42 WLA which is a 45 cubic inch V-twin.  Complete with three hand-charge gearbox transmission. The brakes are mechanical.  The bike measures 88" long by 36. 25" wide and stands at 59" tall with windshield.  Total weight is approximately 575 pounds.  The WLC motorcycles were essentially the same as the WLA other than they were ordered under a Canadian contract.  We are listing this motorcycle for a client and will try to describe it to the best of our ability. keep in mind we are not military vehicle experts. but we will try to answer any and all questions a promptly and as accurately possible.  This WLC has been professionally restored since WWII.  All major aspects of the bike appear to be correct including Canadian military markings.  The bike has been on display for several years and has not been started or driven.  The compression appears to be good along with the mechanical's that we have checked.  Tires are newer reproduction military tires that hold air well.  We feel that with a bit of knowledge and some effort this bike could be in running condition.  It will be sold with a clear Indiana title.  Serial number on the block is 43WLC31046 which matches the title.  Please ask all questions via eBay.  The bike will be sold "as is" as a historical item and all sales are final.  We do not guarantee it to run or drive and do not assume any liability for use. misuse. or negligent operation of the motorcycle.  $1. 00 deposit is due within 24 hours of the close of the auction.  The balance must be payable by bank wire or Cashiers check / money order.  All Cashiers Checks or money order must be verifiable.  Full payment must be made within 5 days of the close of the auction.  Buyer is responsible of any and all shipping costs.  We try to accommodate the shipper of your choice and will make the motorcycle available for easy loading / pick up.   Secure storage is available for up to 30 days after the close of the auction.  Good luck and happy bidding!!!
