1978 Harley Davidson XLH Ironhead Sportster - Many extras - Beautiful!

Up for sale is my beautiful 1978 Harley Davidson XLH Sportster that has been customized and is in excellent running condition.  It has; S&S Super carb. forward controls. custom coil mount with cover. Fat Bob gas tank (3. 6 gallon) with on-tank dash and speedo. wide old-style handlebars. chrome controls. new front brake master cyclinder (chrome). new rear chrome brake housing with new brake shoes. cam and arm. 24 tooth drive sprocket. chrome oil tank. chrome starter cover. bobbed rear fender with bobber tail light. solo seat. new custom complete wiring. new halogen headlight. chrome drag pipes with 4" baffles. FLH Air Shocks (for a creamy smooth ride). braided steel front brake lines. oil cooler. and chrome rims.  The 1000cc Ironhead engine has less than 5000 miles since it was completely refreshed. and it runs great!  It used to be a daily rider. but I was involved in an automobile accident that left me unable to ride anymore. so it has been sitting in my garage for the last year.  It really needs to be ridden and loved - I hate to see it just sitting and gathering dust.  I am also including: the original peanut style 2. 5 gallon tank. an original HD exhaust manifold. HD mufflers (from a newer year Sportster). a maintenance manual. a special HD hand pump for the air shocks. a Battery Tender (it has been plugged in since the last time I rode). a half helmet (if you want it). and a pair of black leather gauntlet gloves.  I had been keeping meticulous care of the bike - keeping the chain oiled. the oil clean and changed regularly. newly replaced fork oil. etc. and have all the paperwork and a clear title for it.    The attached photographs. show the bike in various stages - with the small tank. wrapped pipes. etc.  The photos with the fat bob tank shows the way she looks now.   The only bad points - she will probably need new tires soon. the ones on there now are at least 5 years old (if not older) and may not be as sticky as they should be.  It has been sitting for a year. so it could probably use an oil change before you run it again.  Note:  I just checked the battery - I purchased it in 2011. so it may need to be replaced as well.   Buyer will be responsible for picking it up in Marana. AZ. or for arranging packing and shipping.
