This is a 1971 frame (now rigid) with a 1978 XLCR motor. This was Harley?ˆ™s Caf?© Racing motor with the shifter on the right. Recently (in miles. not time); new tires. clutch (bearings and all) wiring. cables. voltage regulator. generator and all engine gaskets. Also has an all new kick starter (no electric starter).
I can?ˆ™t drive. much less ride anymore and the bike has been sitting for years. A couple of years ago. my son in law took it out and charged the battery and it kicked right over. He took it for a ride but I can?ˆ™t guarantee the battery is still good enough to do that again. The only other thing wrong with it is it needs a new kickstand spring. (Mileage is incorrect as there is no speedometer)
