My name is Jerod Walter and I maintain a collection of new and vintage motorcycles for a private collector. The bikes are insured. registered. kept full of conditioned fuel. connected to battery maintainers and stored in an air-conditioned showroom. ??Showroom Bikes?? are kept in top running condition and are regularly ridden on short notice. The bikes are detailed and refueled after each ride before returning to the showroom. Riding bikes regularly keeps the mysteries to a minimum and allows us to stay on top of any issues that arise. From time to time we ??thin the herd?? to make room for new arrivals. Incoming bikes. or ??Shop Bikes?? go to our bike shop for service. overhaul. and sometimes restoration before moving to the showroom. From time to time a Shop Bike never makes it to the showroom for one reason or another. So sometimes we sell Shop Bikes too. In each case we try to tell the full story of the bike and post lots of pictures. I?m always available by phone to talk about the bikes and answer any questions.
Offered from the Showroom: One-of-a-kind 2011 Harley Street Glide CVO
Note from the Collector: I went through my Harley phase in 2011 when I bought four of them. Each one has been fully customized. There are three left and I?ve decided that there?s only room in the showroom for two. Up for auction is a very unique 2011 HD Street Glide CVO with 13. 64 miles. I bought it in upstate NY where it was serviced by O?Tooles HD and then I shipped it to Wimberley TX where Greune HD has serviced it since.
Right when I bought it I wanted to start customizing. I added a Screaming Eagle high-flow intake and a Vance and Hines high-flow full exhaust (no cheesy slip-ons). I chromed whatever wasn?t and added the Garmin GPS mount as well. I experimented with various seats and ultimately came back to the stock seat. which is the best stock seat I have ever had. Should have stuck with it from the beginning and saved thousands. It?s got the quick release mounts for various accessories and I have a nice matched backrest which pops on and off easily as well as a nice top-trunk with backrest?ฆalso set up for quick on-off. After buying the bike for about $33K. I had put another $5K-$6K into it.
I took it on a 30-day. 10K mile perimeter tour of the US in the summer of 2011. the only big trip for the CVO. Otherwise it?s been strictly a day-tripper and a Showroom looker. The bike came with those low-slung hard-bags that kind of wrap around the pipes in the back and those slick LED taillights that blend into the bodywork. Most people like those but I never liked that draggy-ass look.
In late 2011 I decided to further customize. In addition to the stock ??droopy-bags. the stock bike came with crash bars and fairing-lowers which contained additional speakers for the already kick-ass stereo. I thought the bike had a bloated look and I wanted to streamline and ??sportify?? the big bagger. So I eliminated the fairing-lowers and the crash bars and did a full custom rear end. We added on-the-fly adjustable air shocks in the back so you can completely customize your ride height whenever you want. We eliminated the droopy bags and put an old-school back end on the bike. Flat bags with speakers in the lids. old-school lights. chrome rear plate holder and rubber bumper completed the look. I spent about $7K on these upgrades and the invoice in the pictures details the work. I can send pictures of the invoices upon request. We even had the bags sent out to a Harley Painter who perfectly matched the original Diamond Black and Red shadow treatment. Spectacular.
While the CVO?s are rare enough. I guarantee this bike is one of a kind. It sounds amazing and always draws admirers especially when parked among its mostly look-alike brothers. Why settle for stock and why spend thousands to customize a top-of-the-line Harley when it?s already been done. A few years of age. one big trip and 13K miles will save you a bundle. Unless of course you must have the droopy-ass look.
Because of the value of this bike I will want a non-refundable deposit of $1. 00 in Pay-Pal within 24 hours of winning the auction. Gotta weed out the riff-raff bidders who get drunk and bid before they ask the old lady if they got the money.
We?re selling this motorcycle as is with no warranty (other than what BMW will provide on the original warranty). and we require a deposit of $1. 00. 00 via PayPal within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Full payment will be accepted through wire transfer. certified cashier's check. or cash in person only. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and pick up of motorcycle.
Finally: you would be surprised at how many people place the winning bid on a motorcycle and then discover that they can?t pay. We?ve often wondered how that can happen. but it does. Please don?t be one of those jerks. Please don?t bid unless you?re 100% sure you can and will pay.
Please feel free to email any questions about the bike via EBay or don't hesitate to call me. Jerod at (830)237-7507. Good luck bidding!
