 Here's your chance to own one of the nicest FXRT's on the road. This bike was originally owned by Skip Taylor of Custom Engineering. If you know Skip. he is humble. well traveled. and a legend in his own right. He was a close friend of the late motorcycle artist David Mann. Skip is featured in a number of David?ˆ™s famous paintings. Skip is a chopper builder and parts designer who has always been ahead of his time. He plays a key role in S&S Cycles Research and Development ?ˆ“ and he's a big FXR aficionado. Skip had redone this bike with a new 124 in S&S motor and new S&S 6 speed transmission. The dyno specs on this beautiful power plant is 125. 8 HP and 122. 3 FT LBS Torque. This is one very fast RT! The motor and trans has approximately 12k miles on them.   The one of a kind paint job was done by Krash at Krash Daddy Custom Paint.

The bike was purchased from Skip by Chris Staab of FXR Division. Chris is the owner of FXR Division where they make all the cool goodies for all of your FXR needs. If you know Chris or have had the opportunity to see any of his beautiful FXR's in his stable. then you know that there is never an expense spared when it comes to getting his bikes dialed in just right. So this RT received even more love when it got into Chris' hands including powder coating the rims and forks. Death Squad 12 in powder coated T bars. Race Tech suspension in the front. Works suspension in the back. integrated turn signal tail light. Thunderheader exhaust. floating brake rotors. nbsp;late model control switches. and a chain conversion kit to name a few.

 This bike has been in numerous magazines such as Bagger and Cycle Source. There really wasn't too much left to upgrade when I purchased the bike from Chris. But I was fortunate to find a couple things that I could upgrade. Being that an FXR is arguably the best handling chassis Harley ever built. I wanted to make sure this beauty had the best chassis components. So I installed a Custom Cycle Engineering swing arm bearing kit and also installed a Glide Pro stabilizing system. which included front motor mount. stainless pivot shaft and 2 rear mounts. This RT handles like its on rails. I also installed a new Delkron inner primary and a new offset trans sprocket so a 150 rear tire could be installed if desired. I hate to sell this beauty and know that I am probably going to regret selling such a well storied bike that has seen a lot of love and has had literally everything done to it. But I have a few other bikes that I need to start on and hope to get to the level of this fine machine. So is the cycle of life.  There has been an enormous amount of time and money that has been put into this RT. Rest assured that there was no expense spared and this bike is turn key ready to be enjoyed. The lucky new owner of this very special RT will have absolutely no regrets in his purchase.
