1942 Harley Davidson WLA 45" Flathead Solo w/ Reverse 42 WWII - Runs Project RareBike is in overall good shape. A later front end has been installed with matching fender.  Frame is in uncut and original.  Tanks are in good shape with no dents and are clean on the inside.  Engine has been rebuilt and has less than 200 miles on it.  Bike starts easily with the first few kicks. Transmission is a 3 speed with reverse. so this bike is perfect for a sidecar.  All electrical has been converted to 12 volt.  Inline petcock has been installed. not certain whether tank petcock functions. but it is rebuildable. Paint is not perfect. has some chips and cloudiness. but still looks cool.  Bike does run and ride as-is but does need some minor work.  The left throttle timing is incomplete. so that will need attention. but you can adjust timing by hand easily in the meantime.  Clutch cable adjustment has been welded by a previous owner. but clutch is still functional.  Lights do work. but switch may need some attention as you have to make sure it's fully engaged for lights to work.  Seat will need to be recovered or replaced. I do not believe the odometer works.  The shifter forks may need some attention as the 1st to 2nd shift grinds a little bit. All of these are simple fixes and parts are readily available.   Overall this bike is very solid and is a blast to ride and within a weekend can be a daily rider.
