Ebays messed up system and some parts manuals classify this a Dyna - IT IS NOT - It is a 1976 Super Glide FXE

 

A Five hundred dollar shipping rebate is Offered here on one of my personal bikes that I Totally restored and customized for myself with tons or chrome and polished aluminum

It's started life as a 1976 FXE Super Glide Shovelhead 1200 - Electric and Kick Start

It has all matching numbers with clean clear title in hand

This may truly be a one of a kind Harley Shovelhead  

It was a complete tear down to the frame and built back up again with all new paint ?ˆ“ Engine ?ˆ“ transmission - seals ?ˆ“ Bearings ?ˆ“ New Wheels and Tires - New complete Inverted extended front end and triple trees - New Fuel tank and gauges.

As i do have the knowledge but do not have the equipment to do so. the engine bottom end and transmission was built. balanced and bored by a professional Harley Machine Shop

NOTE -- I have an New Andrews Performance # 6 cam shaft for the bike that was set up and pre shimmed to the engine for after it is broke in properly and/or after 1500 miles. nbsp;that comes with the bike. It ad's conciderably more mid to upper range Horse Power. I am a Horse power nut so I did not trust myself with the throttle on a new engine with this cam so I installed the original stock cam during break in.

The frame was soda blasted and painted with an epoxy primer then painted a pearled black with four coats of clear

The gas tank and fenders have a custom pearled Candy Cobalt Blue and black marbleized base coats and topped with 2 coats of clear being water sanded between coats. Then several air brushed graffics with clouds and lightning bolts and then four more coats of clear

This is a high dollar paint job and quite beautiful paint that changes color with changing light. It is a must see as it is impossible to capture its beauty with a camera

It has blue accent lights under the fuel tank and both fenders (see pictures) It looks really cool at night but does not show well with my camera

It has won a couple local best of show awards plus a most chrome award and I get comments on it everywhere I go with it

I tried to build it with a look between a Fat Boy and a cruiser but still stand out alone but yet still leave as much of the original parts as I could. I wanted the engine chrome to stay as it is and show its age. but. I hand water sanded then machine polished every piece of aluminum on this bike including rocker box?ˆ™s ?ˆ“ engine block and side covers and rear brake caliper and mount

The 58mm inverted front end is raked an additional 3 degrees and the neck cups (not the trees) and extended 4 inch's. It rides great - goes straight with no wobble and no front end flop. The front end Trail was calculated before building and is set up right.

The engine is stock and not juiced up other than the dual plug heads. bore and carb. It IS NOT totally broke in yet with only 698 miles on it at time of pictures. with just over 720 at time of ad. All the oil lines and filter was primed with oil before starting for the first time and it is being broke in properly. with proper oil  and filter change at the first 400 miles and it will be again at 800 miles. I love this bike and riding it. so I will be riding it to the store and such untill it sells. so the milage will change slightly.

It is a very - very fun to ride bike that runs and rides great. Unlike many older bikes. she has a surprisingly smooth vibration free and comfortable ride with the king and queen seat.  

It runs great and has the coolest deep throaty old school sound to it

There are a couple small scratches on the frame from reassembly. I clear coated the heads with the intent of them turning a deep dark goldish color over time from the engine heat. They have a good start but not yet complete - Some like this and some do not - I love it and have done it on several bikes

And as normal on bikes with new paint and gas to soon. he paint had a very slight lift in the filler neck under the gas caps which does not show with caps in place and has been stopped.

She always starts right up and idles great - See the youtube video below of a 48 degree cold morning start up with out being started for a several days

I really love this bike and dread selling it. nbsp;BUT. I am not rich and so I can not start on my next build which will be a very high dollar build. untill I do sell it.

Look at the NADA book value ?ˆ“ An FXE is at $16. 95 - with out the custom paint - mods and all the new. Unlike newer Harley's - This bike is an investment that WILL NEVER DEPRECIATE in value - it will only increase in value. The better the care it gets. the more value it will have.  The NADA book value at this moment is over $12. 00 more - than what is sold for brand new.

I  will not say the bike is absolutly perfect or flawless. I am one person shop and do not build show only bikes. I do build nice looking ridable and dependable street bikes for myself and others and to my tastes as a love of doing it. not a business

I will not say what the reserve is but will say it is thousands under what NADA book value is.

 I have taken several more photo's of the bike that I will keep on hand just encase of shipper damage

PAYMENT

A $300 deposit is required within 24 hours of auction end. The deposit is non-refundable. This can be made directly through eBay via PayPal only. If the $300 deposit is not made within 24 hours the auction is null and void. An unpaid item case will be opened with eBay and you will have an unpaid item against your eBay record. We cannot accept full payment via Paypal or credit card. PayPal is only acceptable for the $300 deposit.

Full payment must be in the form of cash in person. certified check. Money Orders. personal check. ETC. /p>

Most banks require that personal checks. certified checks. money orders and treasurers checks have upto 10 business days to clear. Please keep this in mind when considering shipping arrangements as the bike will not be shipped until payment/s clears my bank.

Once payment has been confirmed and cleared. we will email or call you so you can arrange for the shipper of your choice and I will pay up to $500. 00 for it or refund you which ever you prefer

TRANSPORTING - SHIPPING

I will assist in most any way I can to get the bike shipped quickly and safely. Just let me know what you want me to do and your shipper choice

LOCAL: We will gladly deliver your Harley within 150 miles of our location at a rate of $1. 50 a mile and up to 300 miles for $1. 75 per mile

Other wise you must arrange for all shipping with the shipper you feel the most comfortable with. There are several out there like USHIP

Once the bike leaves my hand so does the responsibility for it.
