HARLEY DAVIDSON 2011 SPORTSTER XL 883R 1200R ROADSTER CAFE RACER SCREAMIN EAGLE

Here we have my 1200 Sportster. bought new and owned and developed by me over the last three and a half years. 2011MY with fuel injection. Originally an 883R chosen beacause it has the best wheels. brakes and stance of the traditional Sportsters but I have spent as much again on extras as I did on the purchase price!The bike has had a Harley Davidson Screamin Eagle 1200 conversion. Not a cheap set of pistons and a rebore. The kit includes new barrels (highlighted). pistons. heads and an uprated clutch spring. This was then matched with a Vance and Hines RSD Tracker 2 into 1 exhaust and a RSD Turbine high flow air filter. It was then mapped using a Screamin Eagle Supertuner and was measured at 71bhp at the back wheel on the rollers. The map is very good as you would expect from a proper SE map with no flat spots and it pulls hard up to its raised rev limit of 7000rpm. It still averages around 50 mpg too!Note that it has had new correct spec. Harley Davidson Dunlop tyres fitted a couple of thousand miles ago. The last set lasted for 17k and were still perfectly legal. The riding position has been radically improved with Chainsikle rear sets and Norman Hyde Ace bars fitted. This complements the fairing which is painted to pay homage to the 1970's Harley Grand prix bikes. It does ride really well.
