1978 Harley Davidson Shovelhead Custom Bobber

1978 Harley Davidson FLH shovelhead bobber. This is incredible. Gets lots of looks everywhere it goes. Maltese cross theme throughout on this bike. I have owned this bike for seven years and have spent a lot of time with it getting to where it's at. Not to mention a bunch of money too. But it looks great. I recently bought a 2013 Harley and can't see owning two so the old girl is going up for sale. Of the upgrades I've done a few are the custom sissy bar made of stainless steel and painted flat black to match the bike. The tank and rear fender are also flat black. the FLH hinged rear fender has been tak welded to prevent opening. There is a crack in the paint on the rear fender. Maltese cross rear pegs. Rear pillion seat purchased new from Harley. it is made for the crossbones motorcycle. Maltese cross mirrors. battery box emblem. derby cover and more. Forward controls. 5 speed transmission. New clutch. Braided cables and lines throughout. Oil cooler. White wall tires are both in great shape. Custom drivers seat. a lot more comfortable than it looks. Custom starter knob installed on left side of tranny. It's direct engage so it fires up quick. This is just a great looking old school bobber with that awesome shovelhead sound. This is a 1978 so I think it's 74ci (1200cc). that's the year harley started making the 82ci motor half way thru the year. I think this is an early 78. not sure.
