1938 Harley Model U with sidecar

1938 Harley Davidson Model U fitted with a sidecar.  this is an older restoration. not totally correct. but still shows nicely. I did not do this restoration. but I have maintained it mechanically. the engine runs smoothly and starts first kick all the time. trans shifts well and also is fitted with the reverse gear. the bike currently has solo gearing fitted. but I have the sidecar gearing and will include it in the sale. the primary chain and sprockets as well as the final chain and sprockets are new. the wheels have been rebuilt with new spokes. bearings. axles and brakes. the tires are newer as well as the tubes. all the lights work. electrical is still 6v. wiring is in good condition. the side car is a '36 model. all the mounts are fitted to the bike and the car can be easily reattached. the body is rust free and has new upholstery. it has not been on the bike for a long time and is dusty from being in storage. the paint on the top surface of the body could use a buffing.  some extras that are included: tow bar with stow bracket on left damper on front forks. running lights. buddy seat. the bike is fitted with the sidecar only park brake. and has the overload seat springs for the buddy seat addition.  this is a great machine.  reliable. and fun to ride. I ride this bike regularly with no issues. put the sidecar back on and take the family for a ride. ****license plate not included. ****feel free to ask questions if I missed something.
