1949 FL Harley Panhead numbers matching springer original chopper

 One time listing on my 1949 Harley FL Panhead this is Real Chopper and it is not for the average rider or the $20k and 20 mile type wanna be biker.  This is a numbers matching (case belly and title) bike. It is the original frame motor and trans. Long time family friend bought this bike in 1972 he owned it until I Bought it around 4 years ago. It pains me sell but I am unemployed and family comes first. however if reserve is not met I'm not selling. This bike has been a chopper since the late 60s. I posted a few early 70s pics. I have more old pics I will forward to the winning bidder.  The bike starts right up and runs good. No unusual noises. no blue smoke. Foot clutch works like it should and rear brake is firm. There is no front brake. Good avon tires.  Yes it leaks oil. It is still a 6 volt elec.  system.  Bike draws a crowd were ever I ride it. with that being said this is not a fresh show bike the paint and chrome shows its age.  That's how I like it.  All parts are period correct on this bike. no repop chinese parts. Only thing I have done since I have owned it is a new battery. coil. plug wires and plugs oil and filter.   I have a clear IL title in my name (titled as 1949 Harley) I also have the previous canceled title from 1976 that I requested back from the state.
