Description

Selling my very original. 1992 Daytona Low Rider. FXDB.  #181/1700.  11. 87 original miles.  3rd Owner.   This bike is really. really nice.  I purchased it just the way it is.  I'm just a fussy type. hobbyist who enjoys low-mileage. garage-queen type of vehicles.  The previous owner was an elderly man in his 70's. who rode the bike sparingly.   There are a few. very simple parts on the bike that aren't original. that could easily be replaced.  Highway pegs. foot pegs themselves. mirrors. backrest. and Screamin Eagle mufflers (which i certainly wouldn't change)   There are two of the older. gold Harley medallions on bike too.  I just left them on.  heck. the side marker lights are even on the bike!   Everything else on the bike is original and is in extremely excellent condition.  Absolutely NO chips. scratches in front of gas tank. on gas tank. or on front fender.  Paint is beautiful.  unfortunately. There are three small chips in paint on rear fender behind sissy bar. Prior careless tool user i'm guessing. when messing with sissy bar screws.   These were present when i bought the bike. The bike is so nice otherwise. i didn't care.   And i didn't care. for once. that it wasn't perfect.  The rest of rear fender is beautiful. Slight bluing on one muffler and a small boot smudge i didn't try to clean off yet. A small area of black paint missing off top of brake reservoir cover.  see pics.  nothing to hide here. These are the only imperfections on the bike.  The wheels and chrome are beautiful. Hard to find a 1992 Harley with no stone chips on front of the gas tank !!   I've owned a few bikes. and they were/are ALL Evo motors.   One of. if not thee. best engine Harley ever produced.  I love the late 80s. 90s Harleys. especially the Low Riders.  i liked the colors back then. the STYLE of the bikes. paint schemes and chrome.  And still do. too many blacked out bikes today. just my opinion.   So. here we have the rare. and cool 1992 Low Rider. Daytona Edition.   Harley's first Pearl paint job.  Although i didn't ride the bike much. it runs great. It shifts perfectly. easy to find neutral.   Starts right up. It really does feel and run like a new bike.  It had a current Va. insp sticker which i mostly peeled off.  Kept it tho on a piece of paper.  Didn't do the other fork yet.  I don't do the sticker on fork thing.  Not much else to say. except if you want a cool. and DIFFERENT Low Rider. a numbered edition. and you don't want to spend 15k and up. then here is one to think about.  Buy it Now for $8200. 00. and seriously.  any of these well-kept. older Low Riders should fetch more money. just my opinion. again.  I know what the silly book values quote. and surprise - this bike is priced within that range. a few hundred above one site. and a thousand below the other!   It's priced fairly and if you are a serious buyer. then you should know that.  Also. Serious buyers/sellers would usually rather talk to a real person. so here is my phone number 717-319-1127.   Bike is located near San Antonio. Tx.  oh. and if i forgot something. let me know. i'm getting old. :-)   Title in hand.  Selling bike as - is.  the norm. Honest. no nonsense seller looking for similar type of buyer.  Pay in a fashion that isn't shady or criminal.    Selling to USA and Canada only.    Any questions. just ask.  I'll reply quickly.  and Happy Birthday to the USMC. today. And salute to Veteran's tomorrow!!
