1990 Harley Davidson Sportster XLH883DLX, 1200 Kit, Street Cruiser Touring Bike

 Here I have my 1990 Harley Davidson XLH883DLX with a few twists. I purchased this in the beginning of summer with the intention of riding it for the summer and reselling it. Well I rode a little and now I am selling it. It is a rare belt drive model. was not standard in the Sporty till 1991. It had a 1200 kit installed when I got it but did not run so good. I have completely gone over the entire bike and now it runs great and is nice to ride. As you can see in the pictures it needs to be cleaned and polished up but other then that it is in great shape mechanically and no dents and never been dropped. I have tuned and jetted the CV Carb so it will give the 1200 engine the proper fuel. the tubes have been replaced in the tires. changed the oil and filter and also upgraded to synthetic oil in the engine and trans. Runs cool and shifts very well. Clutch is good with no slippage. The front and rear brakes have been replaced and the rotors have been resurfaced so no squeaking or squeals. Flushed the brake fluid and replaced with the proper DOT5 silicone brake fluid(Purple) changed all the light bulbs and replaced the battery. The HD ignition system has been removed and and brand new MSD single fire ignition system has been installed. From engine to spark plugs it is all MSD tunable timing and rev limiter. Makes it run so much better and you don't get that popping out the exhaust when backing down the throttle. The Sporty has a flamed mustang seat with a tare that was repaired as you can see in the pictures. It also has 20. 00 miles on it which means it has been ridden and all the bugs have been worked out. also that shows it has been taken care of or it would not look like it does. Like I said it does need some polish on the engine side covers and so on. I ride this bike every day to work so the miles from the picture will change. The bike will be sold with a full tank of fuel and a helmet will also come with it so you can ride it home. This would be a good beginner bike or a good bike for someone that just wants to ride.
