1979 Harley-Davidson FXE Shovelhead

1979 Harley-Davidson FXE Shovelhead with matching numbers on original frame and stock 80 inch motor.  Clean title as a 1979 Harley-Davidson which I verified through H-D.  The Paughco Weld on Hardtail was done professionally in the 80's but the rest of frame is perfect and untouched and Vin stamp is clearly identifiable.  The frame. handlebars. lower forks. triple trees. oil tank. headlight bracket. sissy bar. inner/outer primary and rocker covers are all freshly powder coated.  

This bike has new Crane Ignition System. Paughco oil tank and primary and Front Street cycle handlebars.  Stops great with Zel rear brake with Performance Machine calipers.   Bike has all new wiring (to include fuses to avoid any electrical issues) with a new battery. voltage regulator  and cables throughout.   Bike has original 70's Femco rims and Hippy Killer pegs and grips.   4 Speed Ratchet Top Transmission has new 3rd gear Andrews gears.  The seat is an old Corbin-Gentry that is in perfect condition.  Front Avon and Rear Shinko tires are in good condition.  

Disassembly and Reassembly (for powder coating) was done by Larry Pierce at Garage Company Customs.   Bike truly runs great and easily kicks over.  I have a lot more in the bike than I am asking for and would have been in a few Chopper Mags but I failed to follow through due to work commitments.  Buyer must pick-up vehicle from owner in Temecula. CA.  I am willing to discuss delivery in So-Cal area (within 1 hour from Temecula. A) upon full payment.  Buyer must arrange for shipping of vehicle.
