1955 Harley KHK

 I bought this project a couple years ago. It was a complete 55 KHK new rebuilt motor with a few parts. The heads. cam cover and primary were off. It has KHK cams. heads. ported and polished ports. new valve job. 1 3/4" intakes. fresh bore at . 020 over. Bottom end and trans rebuilt. Sometime in the late 50"s a matched set of Dealer repair cases were installed. Numbers match title. The 3rd owner who had it rebuilt repaired left case at kickstand tab and right above clutch shell and Sportsterized it. Right case no repairs. I am the 4th owner. 130 miles on rebuild. Kevlar clutch. Runs strong like my 59 XLCH. Frame date code 4 H. correct swingarm ( rebuilt with NOS parts). Both powder coated. Front end- new bushings. springs. gaskets. 18" 43002-52 KHW rim. cad spokes. NOS brake lining. rebuilt hub. Rear wheel- rebuilt 41018-55 hub (needle bearing). cad spokes. 18" KHW 43005-35 rim. Generator- 52K rebuilt with NOS parts. Regulator NOSCarb- M53A1 rebuilt. rubber ducky float. Everything has been re-cad plated. re-parkerized (then oiled). or NOS. Some Old dude nuts and bolts. The best way to list. is what is not OEM. tires. oil. seat. exhaust. air cleaner cover. wiring harness. and a reworked sportster horn to fit. a mid 59 up front fender.
