1968 Harley Davidson Shovelhead Police - RARE ORIGINAL

Too many toys. so it has to go.  Up for auction is a RARE 1968 Harley Davidson all original FLH police bike. The Elizabethtown NJ PD ordered this bike new and had the 1967 paint scheme painted on the tanks to match the rest of their fleet. It was put into service and given PD # 55. After the local PD's were de-comissioned. the bikes were sold at auction and this one was purchased by the 2nd owner and he put the bike into storage and it was never ridden. The bike was completely gone through and all the mechanicals were addressed and all wiring and electrics (the wiring harness is the original one and all parts are original and correct mechanically). the bike was cleaned and new battery. oil and fuel were added and the bike was presented to the AMCA to be judged. The bike is original paint with original everything . The fenders are the original ones. with the front fender. and the flip on the rear fender having been repainted and documented as such. When the Police department de-comissioned their bikes they retained the siren. rotating police light and the radio packs (these items were not to be used by civilians). When the bike was re-comissioned by the most recent owner. he added a nos rotating light. siren and the radio pack as well as the saddlebags. All these items are correct for the 1968. The bike starts right up and rides as it should with no strange noises or shakes. Finding an original police bike in this condition is VERY VERY rare. Clear GA title in hand. NO B.
