1983 XLH1000, Electric Start, Ironhead, Rebuilt motor with Wisco forged 10:1

Selling a 1983 Harley Sportster. model XHL1000. electric start. This is not a stock motorcycle and the engine was rebuilt by myself less than 3. 00 miles ago. Total mileage on the motorcycle is roughly 17. 00. Engine rebuild. new parts:Wiseco 10:1 forged pistons and rings (bored 0. 01 over and honed)James top end gasket kitNew valves and valve sleeves. heads cleaned to like new conditionNew high output plugs. Transmission drain plug drips a little oil now and then; just needs Teflon tape or a nylon washer. Little gash in throttle grip (can see in pics). Thermometer dipstick face is cracked (works just fine still). Small scratch on right side of gas tank (can't see it in any of the pics I've posted). Foot pegs are getting worn but work just fine (passenger pegs are new). This bike is a blast to ride. It's really fast and runs strong. I love that it's chain driven. It's a 4 speed but does 90 no problem. There really isn't any need for a 5th gear. It's really clean for an '83. I'm selling it because I have just recently sustained a back injury and I just can't ride much anymore; I still putt around town now and again but figure I may as well let this torquey beauty go to a good home. It's fun to ride on the back roads. Handles very well. I used to ride crotch rockets and this bike doesn't disappoint.
