1978 FX SHOVELHEAD

This is an old Shovel that I just finished rebuilding to customer requirements. making it road worthy. Customer then claimed he did not have the money to pay the invoice. so we struck a deal and he signed over the title. This bike could use a few more new components. to bring it into the very good category. such as tires. drive chain and possibly a clutch pack. The cam and hydraulic tappets were in good condition but I'm sure a new cam and tappets would be beneficial. Also the previous owner did not want to pay for boring the cylinders because the existing bore was in good condition. albeit the specs were on the outside numbers as far as fit goes. New pistons and rings were installed. along with new valves (all 4). The wiring was cleaned up and all lights and electrical systems work good now. The transmission was not serviced so the condition is unknown. yet the bike runs great. This Harley is being sold as is. Cash only. and buyer either pays in person. at time of purchase. or a has a representative come in to pay and receive the title & bike.
