HARLEY DAVIDSON 1940 KNUCKLEHEAD - FLATHEAD FRAME.  This is a 1940. one year only. Knucklehead / Flathead Frame in good condition.  It has some small dents and a few abrasions as normal for a 70 year old frame.  It has a 28 degree rake for 1940 and has the flat indention above the rear head.  The tool box mount appears to have been replaced with the correct replica style and is riveted high for 1940.  The frame appears to have all casting numbers and hallmarks in correct places.  The top motor mount appears to have been replaced.  The frame has minimal flattening on the bottom front frame rails.  There is no battery ground tab correct for 1940.  It appears to be straight and the motor should bolt in without any problems.  Look over the pictures well. I may have missed something.  The frame weights 60 pounds and measures 54" x 31" x 12" and ships from Stanfield.
