1996 Harley-Davidson FXSTSB Badboy Springer Softail Turbo charged

1996 Harley-Davidson FXSTSB Badboy.   I bought this bike 6 years ago out of Texas. specifically because I wanted a Badboy and because I wanted to install a 90?ˆ™s Aerocharger/Aerodyne turbo system on an EVO.   I rode one installed on a Fatboy in 1995. and never forgot it.   The claim at the time was added to a stock EVO. 100 hp +/-. 100 +/- ft lbs of torque was common.   Add the correct camshaft. another easy 30 hp on top of that.   (During that time period. I think a local distributor was installing the Andrews EV27 or Crane 300. )  There are further internet claims if you do a little searching.   (I?ˆ™m not going to make any bragging. unrealistic. claims on this bike because it?ˆ™s never been dyno?ˆ™d and has the original EVO camshaft. )  After acquiring the bike. I was lucky enough to find a complete system taken off of an Electra-Glide from a seller in Canada. who had sold his bike and removed the kit.   (I am including a ?ˆ?wheelie?ˆ? picture of him while installed on his bike. his name is Bubba from Ontario. )  I received the kit. went through it. powdercoated most of the parts black. fabricated a few pieces for the Softtail and installed it.   I have thoroughly enjoyed the bike. the novelty and power/sound of the turbo. but the bike has begun to sit for longer periods of time.   Time to move on to something else.

The bike runs well. pulls hard. but I always thought it might be wise to have it dyno-tuned by someone familiar with turbos in order to get the most out of the modification.

I have a 3-ring binder with all the documentation that originally came with the kit as well as additional information I gathered over the years.   In addition to the turbo. intercooler & plumbing. it has a modified Mikuni carb and electric fuel pump.

The bike has recent Avon Venom Tires. Black wheels with stainless spokes. custom brake rotors. sprocket and brake pads front and rear. custom billet forward controls/brake controls.   It also is equipped with the ?ˆ?hard-to-find?ˆ? Badboy black studded bags and tank pouch.   This motorcycle is in great condition for almost 20 years old. but not perfect even though it has just over 6. 00 original miles.   Check out the pictures and feel free to ask questions. but keep in mind. I probably forgot some things from 6 years ago.

I am offering the bike for sale for room or additional funds for other projects. but being said. I don?ˆ™t have to sell it and it can go back in it?ˆ™s corner.   If you have to ask your wife. or don?ˆ™t have cash to pay for it. don?ˆ™t bid.

Only 1. 58 total produced. and very few remain in original mint condition like this bike. Very collectable.  Only 6. 00 miles. Designed by Willie G. Davidson. These came from the factory with black springer. black fender struts. black risers. black oil tank.  floating rotors. silver calipers. special black studded seat. chrome slotted rear wheel. special dash. & much more.
