Harley Davidson 2008 XL1200 Nightster

 This  2008 1200 Nightster is in great condition with only a few minor flaws. I'll get that out of the way first. What little chrome there is is also in great shape with only a couple of pin sized rust dots on the forks and some on the driver foot pegs. The wheels also have some rust on the spokes. Some of the "black out" paint is starting to flake. The downside to a blacked out bike. It doesn't last forever. Now that the minor negatives have been addressed. let's talk about the positives. The Harley orange and black paint on the tank and fenders is in excellent condition. This bike runs like the day it was built. It is fast. loud and orange. They will see and hear you coming. It is a fun ride and a very clean machine. The new clutch allows for smooth shifting and the disk brakes are in top notch condition.   I am the 2nd owner and have had it garage kept since I purchased it in 2010. The original owner I suspect left it out in the rain. thus the minor rust. All work done on this bike has been done by a factory authorized HD mechanic. The bike runs beautifully. starts immediately every time. The clutch assembly was recently rebuilt by Harley Davidson. Brand new battery. The battery is Japanese but identical to the HD model. Just $50 less. Fairly new front tire (less than 1000 miles). rear tire has good tread.
