Harley Davidson Aermacchi Baja 100 AHRMA Super Rat

Up for your consideration is a Harley Davidson Baja 100 project bike.   The Baja 100 is getting very rare and is simply a great looking and performing dirt bike.   This example is a great solid restoration base with many of the original pieces intact and in good shape. It still has the original shift lever. kickstarter. brake pedal. and it even has the original airbox and carb.   No broken fins on the head or cylinder. It does look like the rear loop has been modified. and to fit the blue tank the rear stock mount on the frame will have to be modified.   The serial # tag is gone (nothing on the steering head) The engine # is 8B11121H1. I am not sure whether this is a '70* or '71 (or '72?) so look closely and bid accordingly.   If you know the production year by the engine # please let me know and I will post it (*Update: a fellow eBayer has told us that this bike is a 1971. as indicated by the "H1" in the engine number. so thanks for the heads up!)What you see is what you get in this auction.   I am throwing in a really cool fiberglass tank that was a period upgrade to the Baja.   The tank alone is worth some good money.
