I have a 47 Harley Davidson Servi Car for sale. It had a refreshening this year with new paint. motor and carb rebuilt. lots of new parts. chrome freshly polished. The body work was done correctly by removing all previous bondo and painstakingly shaped the panels back to like new. Then painted in the striking classic red. black. and chrome color scheme it is today. Paint is conservatively an 8. 5 out of 10. Could easily be a 9. 5 with some buffing or even wet sanding. We haven't touched it since it was sprayed and it looks great the way it sits. It has the original 45 Flathead. and the transmission is from a 46 servi car. It does not have reverse and the gears don't match the numbers on the shifter. I have found the correct transmission for the bike but I don't have the time to get it and install. It runs great. but it is still a 67 year old bike. I wouldn't drive it across the state. lol. Its a great sunday cruiser basically. Has expensive coker tires all around. Please only inquire if you are seriously in the market for a collector quality bike and have the funds available to you to buy it. If you fit that description please feel free to contact me. Local people. I would consider trades but. not just anything. I'm picky. mostly interested in ATV's or UTV's. I'm not excited about shipping it. so please email me if you think you may want to ship it. I also don't want to deal with anyone out of the country. I have a very realistic reserve. not something in the upper teens or twenties. so bid away. Answer to a question I had. eBay won't let the message go through: Hello. so heres how it all went down. I bought the bike a couple years ago. it was in decent shape. probably a 10 footer. I have a friend (Corey) who went to a harley trade school in florida. He now works at Ride Tech here in Jasper Indiana. I had him on the side with another one of his friends (TJ) who went to that school too help rebuild it. First they took it apart to strip old paint. he spent tons of time removing bondo and shaping the metal himself. He had the ride tech body shop coaching him and helping him along the way (if you don't know. ride tech builds very high end pro touring cars). Once the metal work was perfect. he took it to a coworkers paint booth and they painted it. It came out so nice looking none of us wanted to touch it. Sure if you want it looking 100% you could sand and buff. But you can see in the pics that it looks great as is. As for the carb and motor. TJ helped Corey tune it. and ordered a carb rebuild kit and took care of that. It needed a new front rim and hub as the old one was shot. It has a new seat also. They buffed all chrome and it looks great. We have taken it to two small local bike shows and the feedback was excellent. Its an attention getter to say the least. Here I am talking it up. but its still an old bike. its not a $25k resto bike. nor is it all 100% original obviously. I bought this as a project. but I have young kids. see photos. and I would rather have the money stuck into a side by side to ride around the property and the whole fam can enjoy. I have a 69 firebird too so the wife considers that enough toys for me to have. lol!
