An amazing time warp. Absolutely stunning 1990 Harley Davidson FXRS-Convertible. Correct EM Vin Code with dual disc front forks/brakes and the factory 2" over fork tubes. All original. Functioning anti dive air suspension. Quick Disconnect OEM Convertible Windshield and brackets included. Windshield not in the best shape but functioning. Original Convertible bags with no missing clips or connecting hardware. Ballistic nylon starting to fade a bit (25 years old). Leather in excellent shape. Paintwork is factory HD 1990 including decal and pinstripe. The nicest original paint fxr I have ever seen or owned (owned over 20 of these-this is the one I never thought I would sell). 1 owner/family bike. Unmolested. A real impressive original. Bike runs EXCELLENT. Just did a 600 mile trip on it with not an issue. Top end was done 3 years ago (18. 00 miles ago). Its now . 020 over with slightly increased compression from factory with cometic gaskets. Bike cruises effortlessly at 80 mph for hours. The forward controls in some of the pics were removed and the factory mid controls were reinstalled. The forward controls are no longer available. OE Factory HD spoked wheels installed at the dealer when the bike was new. Spokes in excellent shape. Tires are newer. Factory Mag wheels are included with the sale also. Brakes replaced last year. All oils and brake fluid was flushed last week. All chrome is excellent with no pitting or peeling to be seen other than slight checkering starting on top of the transmission lid under the oil bag and the rocker box tops. Natural aluminum engine cases and cylinders in excellent shape. Fork lowers are not oxidized and clean up well. This bike has been kept in a heated garage since new. Newer OEM HD Deka battery 2 summers ago. Always kept on a battery tender. New OE HD Voltage regulator last summer. Original bullhorn air bars hold 20 psi and the factory left grip schrader valve is present and working perfectly with the original oem anti dive 39mm air suspension. No rust to be spoken of on the bike frame or components except for slight surface rust on the rubber mounted heim joint under the oil filter (probably from water spray over the years). I have personally never ridden the bike in the rain and it is washed and waxed every time it has been used. Every single part of the bike functions perfectly including the fuel gauge which also lights up perfectly at night (rare). The gas tank has no rust inside and the factory HD liner is in excellent shape. The factory gas cap is showing its age and while chrome and shiny and not peeling it is not show quality. All turn signals and lights work as intended. The hand controls still maintain all the factory script on the buttons (not worn off at all).
Things changed from stock:
Cycle shack slip on mufflers ( bike is a bit louder than factory with a nice tone. CV Carb jetted correctly for the free flow exhaust).
Air cleaner cover is a chrome HD OEM accessory.
Brake and clutch lever are factory HD OEM Chrome accessory.
Mirrors are factory HD Tear Drop 2001+ on mirrors.
Rear shocks are factory height. but are preload adjustable chrome Progressive units (light years better than the factory rear shocks).
