Description

Up for auction today is my latest completed restoration. This is a 1960 Harley FLH DuoGlide in Hi Fi Blue with Burch White Panels. As with all my restorations this bike has been completely taken apart. gone through. and reassembled.   The bike has all matching numbers. title matches engine. belly numbers match. 159-6538 and correct transmission numbers. The frame. swing arm. and most other black parts have been powder coated. The motor and transmission have been gone through with any worn parts replaced. With all new gaskets and seals. Some of the original parts include sealed tanks. fenders. front fork assembly. headlight. seat. dash cover with the rare neutral light. bugle horn. rebuilt model 58 generator. rebuilt Linkert M74B carb. mousetrap clutch control. foot shifter. rebuilt wheel hubs. nbsp;re-chromed front and rear bumpers.

It has new rims with stainless steel spokes and new Shinko replica tires. New replica wire harness. new Harley 6 volt battery. other new parts include: rear brake drum and sprocket. front brake plate and pads. master and brake cylinders. Harley tank emblems. oil and gas lines. chain. coil. front and rear axles. and all new cables(throttle. retard. clutch. and brake) Aftermarket chrome parts include: primary covers. oil tank. chain guard. fender tips. tail light. license plate bracket. crash bar. speedo. and replica exhaust and muffler.

As with all my restorations this bike is close to the way it looked new in 1960. Also like all my restorations this bike has never had any oil or gas installed and has not been started. All wiring has been tested. lifters set. carb. and timing set to factory specs. It should start by adding gas and oil but it has not been tried. Most of my restoration go to private collections and never get started.
