1948 PANHEAD ENGINE CASE MOTOR MATCHING TITLE PAN FIRST YEAR HARLEY BOBBER CHOP

Here we have a set of 1948 Harley Cases. It includes a Clean and clear TN title. It is a four digit vin number mid year production for the first year Panhead.  I had them glass beaded to reveal their true condition.  As far as condition goes they are near mint. Except one unfortunate repair it needs.  and as far as repairs go its an easy one. The cam chest is perfect. The motor mounts and generator strap area is superb. Even all the thread holes look good (oil pump and timing plug included) A minor issue is the drain plug. I recommend not worrying with it as they are all a bugger to do once the motor is back in a frame anyway. The only issue I see is a common spot for these early pan cases when the oil holes that go from case to cylinder are so thin and break. It a straight forward fix for a welder and mill operator. I did my best to take a few pictures from multiple angles so you could know exactly what your bidding on. Please check the pictures and bid accordingly.
