Harley Davidson "F" Model Panhead, Yes F Model Panhead

 Idaho Titled 1949 "F" Model Panhead. this gurl runs. and runs strong. A little provenance. this gurl was set up to run the long grades of the Idaho long Pull mesas. hence the aftermarket large oil filter. and later model oil pump. Particulars: Working Handlebar Spirals. spark retard and throttle . Square horn blocks. Round front down tubes. All Hallmarks present that can be seen. Original gas tanks. shut off valve does not work. [Gas tanks smell good]. nbsp;  True dual exhaust. Pogo stick still has action. Brakes function. Rocker clutch actuates. OEM 32 E generator. brass tag. Tool box mount intact. Keys for ignition and neck lock. neck lock works. Rear fender looks to be aftermarket. Front legs polished. hence no stamps. /p>

Running S&S Super B. nbsp;  Headlight does not work. dash lights light up and act accordingly once she starts up. repop dash. speedo is interesting [repop I am guessing]  I do not see any fixes to the cases. or broken cylinder or head fins. If you review pictures. the telltale "7"s are stamped on rear motor mount. the cognoscenti will understand the inference.

I do not see any alterations to frame.

She does need some fine tuning.

Tombstone tailamp lens retainer/cover. Side covers. behind headlight cowel. Horizontal Headlight cowel. Inner and outer primary covers. OEM Tool box. no key. latch functional. Battery tray. shows some corrosion. Clutch basket springs. 3 Finger Clutch basket [no nuts] and engine drive sprocket. Not shown in pictures. 16" Kelsey Hayes old Chrome laced rim [complete]. Panhead oil pump. short and long windshield mounts. Stunning candidate for a restoration. hell how may "F" models do you ever see. Running "F" model pans.
