Didn't I already do that above? Oh well. let's do it again. This bike is a full on rat bike custom. You wont find another like it in the world. Take it out and watch everyone. even normal citizens stare in awe at it's majestic beauty. Pose for literally hundreds of pictures every single time it is in public. Win every show you enter it in (I have over 50 trophies so far). It always wins. Anyone can buy a bs Softail and it aint nothin special. This bike stands out in a crowd.  It runs and usually starts with a kick or two once you're used to it. It is not hard to kick - my 99 lb old girlfriend could start and ride it with me on back with absolutely no experience and drunk as hell. It features a jockey shift (Hand shifter) and foot operated clutch. The clutch linkage was made from an old barbed wire fence. The seat is an ancient horse saddle made by Cortina. It has a rip in it but works fine and is very comfy. The blanket under it helps absorb the potholes and is handy to spread out under the stars with the little beauty you just picked up after you caught her eyeballing it with a lustful look in her eye. The 2" straight pipes sound like cannons. especially when it backfires and throws flames out the back. sending citizens ducking for cover and making mothers drag their kids to safety. The Wide Glide front end has custom engraved legs that tell a story of many lands and people that have crossed it's path. Special memorials to Brothers in Heaven and Hell included. The legs are installed backward on the wrong side. placing the brake backward as well. I once got points in a show for that and the rear brake discussed later in this ramble. The frame is a Paughco that I rescued after 3 Finger Bill had wrecked it and was kicking it down the driveway to the curb. It only cost me $75 to have the neck repaired and it's gone hundreds of thousands of miles since without a problem. The motor is a pretty much stock Panhead. The exhaust ports are shot but the pipes are secure by bailing wire. Upgraded (new) electrics including generator. solid state regulator. automatic advance distributor. coil and plug wires. Every single gasket leaks and it needs a drip pan when you park it in your garage or driveway. The brake light needs some help and I just might fix it soon. The handlebar bushings are loose. but I like it that way because it helps make the ride smoother. It features hydraulic disc brakes that could use new pads ($15 online) and tons of brake cleaner. The brake calipers are from a 70's Shovelhaed. commonly referred to as banana calipers. The rear one is installed upside-down for effect. OK. I'll admit it. I didn't know it was supposed to go the other way. Same with the front forks/brakes. It's the little touches that make this bike a unique show winner. The lock is a rusty old unit made by Winchester Firearms around 1850 I think. It has a skeleton key. coincidently serial number 666! It works fine with the attached rusty chain to lock this puppy up safely wherever you go. There is even a Winchester brass plate attached to the face. People always want pictures of that too.  This machine has been all over the country from The Redwood Run. to Sturgis and even Daytona and never failed to draw the looks and admiration of all who see it. It's been my friend when times were good or bad. I hate to sell it. Let's see how the bidding goes. I set the reserve high enough to keep out the wannabes and posers. If you're serious about owning a piece of historical art and you're not too timid. this bike can be a ton of fun. Ride on.
