1977 Harley-Davidson FXE Super Glide

74ci/1200cc Shovelhead w/SU SideDraft carb. speed. rag pipes. -D FXE gas tank. orrect NarrowGlide front end. orrect alloy wheels. iltwell Solo seat w/springs. tc.

This is a FLH Electra-Glide with FXE gas tank. ront-end. nd wheels. This was a common swap back in the day. nd since the FXE/FLH have same basic frame everything bolts up. Engine was replaced in late 1970`s with a genuine H-D unit from another 1977 Harley.

Same owner since late 1980`s. In 1992 he dis-assembled the bike. nd rebuilt the engine. He lost interest. nd that is where it sat till Feb. 2014 when I bought it. nd put it back together. I inspected everything I could and replaced/repaired as needed. I also changed all the fluids. Has a mild cam. nd retro style SU carb. Shift pattern was reversed(1 up/3 down)for faster shifts. Has Ape hangers. nd a sweet retro style Solo seat made by Biltwell.

It starts easy. NO smoke or knocking. Charging system is good. I have driven about 5 miles. It is FAST. Retro style old Shovelhead. ALL genuine Harley-Davidson with a real Harley VIN number(2A*****H7)
