Harley Davidson WLC45 / WLA45

On sale for a friend of mine. Beautiful original Harley Davidson WLC 45.   He has owned this bike since 1972 and major works were carried out in 1986. This included a complete engine rebuild. Much other work has been done over the years mainly by Fred Warr. It is very much in the 50's style. rather than the chopped / bobbed styles. Not many of these around that haven't been militarised within an inch of its life. The bike has done around 14. 00 miles since then. It has great patina. with period features such as a buddy seat. crash bars. etc. There are also great things like the old FH Warr decal and the oil warning badge.   The speedometer was recently repaired by me. There are some new tank decals if needed. Everything works well. Easy to start. The no. plate is the original and non - transferable. This is a great opportunity buy a nice bike that hasn't been over restored. but is in very good running order. There are some interesting books including owners handbook included. I may take a p/ex against this. Either an INTERESTING classic car or british bike. No snotters or anything modern!
