1954 Harley Panhead. with restored motor& tranny to OEM Specs. w/6 mon warranty

THE RESERVE PRICE ON THIS AUCTION HAS JUST BEEN DROPPED DRASTICALLY NOTE THAT THIS BIKE IS NOT COMPLETE AND THE MOTOR AND TRANNY COMES WITH A NOTORIZED BILL OF SALE ONLY This 1954 (50th Anniversary) Panhead bike is ALMOST complete (I estimate 90 percent done). The Motor and transmission have been restored to factory OEM Specifications by Rob's Used HD Parts. out of VA. . and they come with a 6 month warranty on their work. Many bikes that you see in Easyriders(tm) magazine have motors that were built by the "old grey beard" that builds motors for Rob's Used HD Parts. There is an upgraded Oil Pump installed on the motor. but other than that. everything on the bike is OEM and vintage correct. Oil tank is from a knucklehead. The front end is a New Take Off item from an 2007 FXSTS. that has Zero Miles on it. I have grafted a 45 WLA front brake assembly to a 23 inch front wheel. Who ever wins this bike during the bid. will have to come up with some building they will have to do. For example. the seat is not finished. and needs a solution. the handlebars need a solution. the rear fender needs to be narrowed by about 6 inches (left over parts from a previous build of mine). the bike is setup for a 12 volt system. but needs to be wired. Vintage oil filter The gas tanks are vintage correct for 1951 to 1954. Rebuilt/restored Linkert carburetor. NOS squish pipe for the front exhaust. and a very nice used rear exhaust header. This bike was for me. I was born in 1954. I have been collecting parts for years and years for this. Now I Have No Choice But To Sell This Bike. I do not want to sell parts off of this bike.
