1978 Harley Davidson Aermachii 175 SS vintage antique classic amf

This is another Aermachhi HD I have for sale. It is a 1978 175 SS street bike that has clear title. This one here has approximently 350 miles on it that are original. I just swapped out to a NOS speedometer has a bike strap hit the odometer  trip and broke the odometer not the speedometer. I relised this has soon has I drove after unloading it a couple months ago after a bike show. I had a Spare NOS speedo and finally found the time to change out. I put about 30 miles on bike since I have owned it. It drives out like a 1978 new.

I bought this bike from someone on ebay. What appealed to me was the low mileage and the pic's looked good. There is a video of the ex owner driving it on you tube. From the videos and from the picture that were presented you could not see the faults and he did not talk of them. There was a good size dent in the gas tank and the front wheel was rusted bad. The blinkers did not work and he did mention that. The blinkers were an easy fix has they were never plugged into the ignition switch from the dealer. I bought an NOS gas tank. I went ahead and color matched and repainted all the red body parts. While disassembling I found a broke airbox and I just happen to have an NOS one to replace it. All the CEV amber lenses were replaced with NOS . The back marker chrome bezels were replaced with NOS. I put in a new battery. I rebuilt the carb and chaged all the oils. The front forks were repolished and NOS amber markers were installed. The only week spot is the ignition tag needs replacing. The bike runs and starts like it should. The Chen Shin tires are original to the bike.   This bike is extremely clean and appears nearly like new. The paint is base clear coat and the decals were NOS. When I did this bike and the 125 SX I spared no expense. Like the 125 this one here along with initial investment has over 5 grand  in it. This and the 125 tied for first place their first and only outing. In the picture the 74 MSR100 was sold. The 04 Soft Tail is available.

There is a also a HD windshield kit that came on the bike but I put it in a box. It goes with bike. Any ?? or comments feel free to email through eBay. I will make a package deal on both bikes or on the three remaining.
