You are looking at a 1943 Harley Davidson 45 WLA Motorcycle. Living in a barn in Berks County PA. this WLA has been gone over completely and is in fantastic running condition. some new parts were used to bring this bike back to life. I can only tell you what I know. it has the original tanks but civilian fenders. the seat. breaks and headlight are new. the wiring was changed and it is 12V. I believe this is a revers transmission changed over to a 3 speed with no revers. if you want a completely original bike. you would only need to chase down a few original parts. I have provided pictures in as much detail as I can. please look closely and ask any Questions you may have before you bid. I will post all pertinent Questions and answers. this is a rare bike. I have a clear NJ title. nbsp;titled correctly for the year. you don't find many this way. this is ready for the road. Pick Up and or shipping is the Buyers responsibility. however. I will help with your shippers pick up of the bike. thanks for looking and happy bidding.
SORRY FOR THE RELIST.
I mistakenly used the 3 day auction.
Q&A
Q:Hi is frame orig and straight? Forks correct and straight? Photo of the neck ? Thanks john
A:The frame and forks looks to be very straight and it rides straight. I see no visible imperfections. nor is anything obvious when riding down the road. I put as many pics as eBay would let me. how can I get you the pic you need?
Q: Has this bike had any powder coating applied to it? Thanks. Jeff A:
no powder coating.
Q:Wondering do you have original transmission? Besides tranmission and fenders what else is she missing from original ? Are the frame and engine numbers a match ? Thanks Don
A: I'm not sure how to tell the year on the trans. this could have been a sidecar bike. that would have had a revers trans. it has a bracket on it that I thought was only on transmissions with revers. I'm not an expert on this. its what I have been researching and reading. The break leaver. seat. headlight and tail light have been replaced with new from what I know. they were missing from the bike. the frame. engine. tanks. front end and the basic bike is all original HD. It is my understanding that the frames of the WLA. WL. bikes do not have a # that would match the engine. there is no such thing. Also published at eBay.com
