Called the Midnight Express. this second year FX Superglide followed the iconic 1971 Harley Davidson Night Train and maintained mostly all of the 1971’s special features including the boat tail rear fender and seat. frenched tail light. exhaust system. mechanical brake front wheel/ front end. carburetor. brakes. shifter. speedometer. decals and stripes.

This bike is a matching numbers motor and frame…. and comes with a clear/transferable title and bill of sale. It starts. runs. shifts. rides and stops as it should. It is not a show bike but rather a great rider that gets lots of attention at cruze nights and at car and bike shows. It is 43 years old. yet very rideable in modern traffic and distinctive from all other Harleys. These 1972’s are rare and collectible. and this one comes with both the boat tail set up as well as the other seat/fender option that year; a flat fender and seat…. see photographs. The paint is used but shines up well. decals are reproduction…there is some light rust on the nipples but I think can be buffed out with a little elbow grease.
